![]() ![]() Renderfarm within Revit! They promised that IES files will map through (I dont think its in the beta yet) 3. Sometimes the extra work is more than worth the result but when it can be achieved in about 2 minutes by a knowledgeable user, it can make things pretty interesting. It does appear as though this aspect can be manufactured (and of course rendered) as easy in modo see- ( and,) and in a different way and the presets you can make or buy are editable in real time in that using a transform, you can choose to make things bigger or smaller in 3 axes on the fly by merely dragging a grip as well as having the latitude to bend things, stretch etc.vegetation mapped to the tree say, adjusts to suit.heh. Besides, Revit does not have NZ trees and vegetation so there is not a local context available as with the US unless we make the content. I don't have to do commercial scenes so I can avoid using most of that all the time (yay). Your note about finishing a scene is a good one for those who use RPC content or similar props but using that stuff is a personal choice or informed by context and target audience. I have not had any technical problems using an external engine so far which is unexpected I suppose. ![]()
